The bad weather did not deter the Collette family and friends off from attending the opening of our new Crazy's Bar.

It has taken awhile but we have finally got a new bar with the money that was raised from the Crazy's Verandah raffle. It was his idea to put a verandah roof on the balcony but due to structural issues it was not able to be done. So, the money was used to get a new bar in his name.

A big thank you to Glen Hardiman for building the bar and to Jude Hay for doing the fit out.

Thank you to Jacko for his nice words about Crazy as he was a great clubman at Woori Yallock Football Netball Club and has been greatly missed by many.

I'm sure Crazy would also be very proud to see his son Jack back at the club and playing some great football. Jack is also being a great leader of the reserves as their captain. Just need Hayley back playing netball.

The opening of Crazy's Bar seems to symbolize a significant moment for the community, reflecting how collective efforts shape local culture. The integration of The Pokies https://www.roaringmegs.co.nz/ within the bar raises questions about their role in social spaces. While they can foster community interaction, one must also consider the implications of gambling on local dynamics and individual well-being in the long run.

The effort put into creating the new bar is commendable, yet it raises questions about the long-term sustainability of such projects. Using funds from events like the Crazy's Verandah raffle shows community spirit, but how will the ongoing costs be managed? The mention of Royal Reels highlights an interesting contrast between community-driven initiatives and potential financial pitfalls. Careful planning is essential for future success.
