It was a day to remember at Don Road Reserve, Healesville, as the Woori Yallock Football Netball Club brought home two Premier Division Premiership flags, with both the

D Grade and B Grade netball sides claiming historic Grand Final victories over local rivals Mt Evelyn.

D Grade: First-Ever Premiership Masterclass

Final Score: Woori Yallock 30 def. Mt Evelyn 22

History was made in the opening clash of the day as Woori Yallock’s D Grade side captured the team’s first-ever premiership flag.

Setting the standard early in the day, Woori Yallock’s D Grade side came out firing from the first whistle. In a tightly contested opening half, the Tigers maintained composure under immense pressure, converting key turn-overs into clinical scoring opportunities.

Through cohesive team movement in transition and disciplined defense, Woori Yallock gradually pulled away in the second half, holding strong against a late Mt Evelyn surge to secure the first premiership of the day.

Following D Grade’s triumph, the B Grade squad took to the court looking to break a 9-year premiership drought—and they delivered an absolute classic to complete the double.

In a tight, physical contest against a formidable Mt Evelyn side, the teams traded goals through every quarter. With the match on the line in the closing minutes, Woori Yallock’s resilience and big-match composure shone through. Key defensive rebounds and patient transition play in the final minutes sealed the victory, bringing the B Grade flag back to Woori Yallock for the first time in nearly a decade.
